Job Description: As a Part-Time Bookkeeper at vCare Hospice, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Must be in Upstate South Carolina for periodic office meetings on occaision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning.
- Assist with payroll processing and other financial administrative tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in accounting or finance is a plus.
- Previous experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks Online and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Hours:
- This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Specific hours will be discussed during the interview process.
