We are the pre-eminent rehabilitation center of the area with approximately 75% of our residents on a rehabilitation stay. We are also developing an out-patient practice to service the growing aging population in the area. We are unique in that we have an inpatient license and an outpatient license with two separate clinics on campus. Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time on-site role for a Physical Therapist located in Placerville, CA. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for designing and implementing treatment plans to meet the needs of individual patients. The Physical Therapist will work with patients who are recovering from an injury or illness, in order to improve their mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. The Physical Therapist will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to design and implement comprehensive care plans specific to each patient.
Qualifications
Rehabilitation and Patient Care skills
Orthopedic and neurological therapy experience with the geriatric population
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good time management
Compassionate and patient-centered care approach
Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
Experience within in-patient rehabilitation
A current California state license for Physical Therapy
Degree in Physical Therapy
Certification in specialized areas within physical therapy, such as geriatric physical therapy, is a plus and is incentivized
