The QuikTrip Protective Services Department is looking for a Contract Case Manager to work at the Corporate Office in Tulsa, OK.
This is a Contract role slated to last 1+ years.
Required Experience / Skills:
- Three years municipal, county, state, military, tribal, or federal criminal investigation experience.
- In-depth knowledge of criminal investigation techniques; and criminal law, rules, and legislation.
- Extensive knowledge in the preparation and presentation of criminal cases for prosecution in state and federal district courts.
- Hands on experience with crime scene analysis and forensic science.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite applications.
- Valid driver license and reliable transportation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conduct research, documentation, and preparation of evidentiary case files for Security Incidents occurring on QuikTrip property. Essential tasks include:
- Reviewing Incident Management reports, accessing and reviewing the QuikTrip Enterprise Security System (ESS) sub-components, and documenting facts relevant to reported Security Incidents.
- Utilizing analytics, social media, and third-party websites to initiate and support investigations into Security incidents.
- Interviewing complainants, witnesses, and victims to document relevant facts.
- Maintaining an auditable, digital archive record or every Security Incident case file created and logging data into Security Department’s case management system.
- Preparing Law enforcement reports on behalf of QuikTrip for those Security Incidents meriting law enforcement investigation/prosecution.
2. Liaise and serve as primary QuikTrip point of contact for law enforcement agencies and prosecutors’ offices to represent QuikTrip in criminal prosecutions. Essential tasks include:
- Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement, prosecutors, retail partners and retail crime associations.
- Liaise with law enforcement officials, prosecutors, QuikTrip Security personnel, QuikTrip Operations personnel, and third parties to create comprehensive case files for external criminal perpetrators in order to seek maximum deterrence and minimize future exposure to loss and fraud.
- Appear in court to testify on behalf of QuikTrip and to present and authenticate video and other evidence.
- Effectively manage multiple case assignments in multiple jurisdictions.
- Respond to law enforcement/prosecutors’ requests for evidence in active criminal cases involving external criminal perpetrators in which QuikTrip is a victim, including without limitation requests for videos and other QuikTrip evidence.
- Prepare and present victim impact statements and/or restitution paperwork on behalf of QuikTrip in criminal cases in which QuikTrip is a victim.
- Effectively network with retail and government resources to identify, investigate, and address retail crime activities, as well as performing any additional tasks relating thereto as directed by QuikTrip.
