Event Coordinator
Location: Grand Prairie, TX with remote flexibility

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Event Coordinator to oversee our events. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of events, from concept through execution. This role demands a blend of creativity, meticulous planning, and leadership skills to ensure every event is executed flawlessly. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for event planning and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Opportunities to lead and mentor a team of assistant event planners and coordinators, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment onsite for event days.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Coordinator:
- Assist in leading the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and objectives, translating them into actionable event plans.
- Manage aspects of event planning, including venue selection, vendor management, logistics, budgeting, and on-site coordination.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, venues, and other stakeholders to ensure a high level of service and competitive pricing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the event planning process or on the event day.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and assess opportunities for improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance the quality and efficiency of our events.
- Assisting the Social Media Manager/Team in maintaining each of the applicable social media platforms ensuring we stay on brand and relevant.
- Prepare and distribute wedding related marketing materials, help manage wedding campaigns, and monitor their success
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in event planning or management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale and complex events.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Creative mindset with the ability to problem-solve under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
