The Human Service Center, often referred to as HSC, serves residents of the three counties with a combined population of approximately 69,000 and covers approximately 3,000 square miles. Our mission is to provide mental health, substance use disorder, and developmental disability services to our citizens. POSITION OVERVIEW – Mental Health Services Clinical Coordinator:
Execute responsibilities of Comprehensive Community Services Program, Community Support Program, Targeted Case Management and Community Recovery Services including Mental Health Professional, Service Director, and Clinical Coordinator. Will assist the Service Facilitators in the assessment and recovery team process, attest to the need for psychosocial rehabilitation activities and assist with service planning. Oversee that the clinical needs of CCS/CSP/TCM/CRS consumers are met in a person-centered, recovery-focused manner. Provide Clinical Supervision for the Emergency Services Program as needed. Ensure quality services are provided to consumers and certification standards are met for DHS 34, DHS 36, DHS 63, Chapter 51, 1905(a) and correlating Medicaid regulations.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE LEVEL REQUIRED:
1. Master’s Degree with coursework in areas directly related to providing mental health services such as social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling or community mental health is required.
2. Knowledge of Substance Abuse and Mental Health systems of care required.
Preference for:
1. Two plus years of supervised experience working with co-occurring disorders.
CERTIFICATION/PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE:
1. Wisconsin licensure as a mental health professional with 3,000 hours of supervised clinical practice.
Preference for:
1. CSAC by the State of Wisconsin.
