Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support our medical team in delivering excellent healthcare services. Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients, including assessing patients, administering medications, and performing various medical procedures as needed.
- Utilize advanced life support techniques, including ventilator management, to maintain the health and well-being of our patients.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring that our patients receive comprehensive and timely treatment.
- Participate in the management of patients who are experiencing acute pain, including providing pain management interventions and education to patients and their families.
- Monitor patients receiving tube feeding and provide ongoing care and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment, ensuring that our patients receive continuous and coordinated care.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMRs) such as Cerner to document patient care and treatment, and to access patient information and medical records.
- Demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and quality care, adhering to hospital policies and procedures and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital is located.
- BSN degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience working in an emergency room or inpatient setting, preferably in a PICU or emergency medicine environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency in the use of electronic medical records (EMRs) and other technology systems.
- Experience working in a long-term care or memory care setting is a plus.
- Experience working as a travel nurse is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of acute pain management and ventilator care.
Pay: $2,319.00 - $2,355.00 per week
