Description:
Infra-Metals Co., a large US based structural steel supplier, is looking for an experienced .Net developer to develop and manage web applications and apps using the Microsoft .Net framework. This position will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop, test, and deploy high quality applications to meet business needs and challenges, including leveraging ERP data through vendor provided APIs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new features and functionality for existing .Net applications
- Creating, modifying, debugging code including UA testing and version control
- Responsible for intranet and extranet websites both in testing and production
- Enhance and maintain current .Net applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skill Requirements:
- Strong development experience using ASP.NET, C#, MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, json and ajax.
o Mobile application development experience a plus
- Strong website architecture, design and security experience using IIS 6.0 or greater
- Sound MS SQL Server experience required including stored procedures, functions and query optimization
- Strong XML and ADO.NET experience required
- Experience with Qlik replication and data warehousing a plus
- Experience with Agile development process a plus
- MS SQL Server dba experience a plus
- Familiarity with software life cycle best practices
Education:
- MCPD certification or 3-5 yrs comparable experience required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
