Job Summary:
We are seeking a Bakery Manager to oversee the cakes, laminated dough, cookies and breakfast pastry side of our bakery operations. The Bakery Manager will be responsible for managing staff, creating and implementing production schedules, monitoring inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized bakery. We have an existing chef overseeing all BREAD production. With multiple units successfully running, we're looking to open 4 more locations in the next 5 years and are in search of someone that can help us grown successfully.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a bakery or high volume pastry/baking kitchen.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience managing a team is a must.
- Ability to scale for multiple locations as we are in a fast growth mode.
- Spanish helpful but not a must.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborative menu development with Ownership.
- Hire, train, schedule and supervise bakery staff.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized bakery workspace.
- Work with vendors to source high-quality ingredients.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and profitability
