About Wildcat Canyon Community School (WCCS)
WCCS is a Waldorf-inspired AWSNA-registered initiative. An independent, coed school, WCCS serves
more than 190 students from preschool through middle school on a remarkable 11-acre hillside campus
with an additional 80 acres, which provides endless opportunities for outdoor classroom experiences. We
are currently thriving in our third year as a parent/teacher cooperative that blossomed from the East Bay
Waldorf School. We are a collective of teachers and faculty reimagining Waldorf curriculum in an effort
to bring it to current times to meet the children of today.
We are looking for educators who will join us in cultivating a school resonant with the impulses of
Waldorf education: a development of the “head, heart, and hands” in children, which offers them a
holistic education in service of supporting the development of free-thinking human beings who can make
their unique contributions to the future - while simultaneously, centering diversity, equity and inclusion
through curriculum, stories and festivals.
