Responsibilities:
Unemployment Claims Management: Handle all aspects of unemployment claims, including documentation, communication with relevant agencies, and representing the company in hearings/appeals.
Workers Compensation: Administer Workers Compensation programs, ensuring timely reporting, claims management, and coordination with insurance providers.
Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits. Assist employees with inquiries and enrollment.
Payroll Processing: Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Address employee payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.
HR Compliance: Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Ensure company policies and procedures are in compliance.
Data Management: Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and documentation, including employee files, attendance, and timekeeping.
Employee Relations: Assist in managing employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
Recruitment Support: Collaborate with the HR team on the recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, and participating in interviews as needed.
Event Coordination: Plan, organize, and execute company events, such as team-building activities, holiday parties, and employee recognition programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience as an HR Generalist with specific expertise in unemployment claims, Workers Compensation, Benefits, and payroll.
Familiarity with HRIS software, with preference for experience with Paycom
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented and able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Bilingual is highly preferred (Mandarin/Chinese; spoken, reading)

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
