Job Description:
Overview: We are looking for experienced social media managers. If you do not have experience managing social media in a corporate environment this is not the position for you. As a Social Media Content Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, curating, and managing compelling content across various social media platforms to engage our audience, build brand awareness, and drive traffic and leads. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure that our social media content aligns with our overall marketing goals and brand identity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft engaging and concise copy.
- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools/software.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with social media management tools, such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with advertising on social media platforms.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation:
- Develop engaging and creative content for social media platforms, including but not limited to text, image, and video content.
- Produce high-quality, visually appealing graphics and videos optimized for each platform.
- Write compelling copy and captions that resonate with our target audience and encourage engagement and interaction.
- Content Curation:
- Monitor industry trends and news to curate relevant and timely content for our social media channels.
- Identify user-generated content and other relevant content sources to share with our audience.
- Ensure that all curated content aligns with our brand voice and values.
- Community Engagement:
- Actively engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster meaningful conversations and relationships with our followers to cultivate a strong sense of community around our brand.
- Monitor social media channels for mentions of our brand and participate in relevant conversations.
- Platform Management:
- Manage and maintain our presence on various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest features and best practices for each platform and leverage them to optimize our social media strategy.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to track the effectiveness of our content and make data-driven decisions to improve engagement and reach.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute integrated social media campaigns that support our overall marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with other teams, such as design and product development, to ensure that our social media content is aligned with our brand messaging and product offerings.
