Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Plumbing Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in underground plumbing and new builds, with a thorough understanding of ABS, sewer lines, local codes, scope of work, soils, and backfill procedures. This role requires hands-on involvement in plumbing construction tasks, alongside supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Assist in overseeing all aspects of plumbing construction projects, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and local codes.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of plumbers and subcontractors, providing guidance and ensuring high standards of workmanship.
- Hands-On Work: Actively participate in plumbing construction work.
- Supervision: Oversee and mentor team members, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and adherence to project timelines.
- Coordination: Collaborate with other construction foremen, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during construction, maintaining a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols are followed, promoting a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role within the plumbing construction industry, with specific experience in underground plumbing and new builds.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficient in ABS, sewer lines, local plumbing codes, scope of work, soil types, and backfill procedures.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical plumbing work, including lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
