POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinical Registered Nurse (RN) Ensures a positive and quality patient clinical experience in accordance with established standards, policies, and nursing scope of practice. Works as a liaison between the physician and the patient ensuring both physician and patient's needs are equally recognized and resolved. Provides nursing care for patients in the clinic, assisting providers with exams and other tasks as directed with exams and ensuring detailed documentation and recording in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY

Perform a variety of tasks in support of daily operations, including but not limited to:

Promotes the mission, vision and values of the organization.

Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.

Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and regulatory standards.

Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols; medication administration and storage procedures; and controlled substance regulations.

Provide each patient care in a safe, comfortable and private environment.

Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements;
calling for repairs; and evaluating new equipment and techniques.

Maintains clinical supplies by checking stock to determine PAR/inventory level.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and participating in professional societies.

Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating
information and participating in team problem-solving methods.

Maintain knowledge of and comply with established policies and procedures.

Participates in department and clinic meetings as well as professional development activities.

Understands HIPAA regulations and maintains the strictest confidentiality at all times. Has read and understands the company’s HIPAA Privacy Policy.

Complies with all regulatory requirements including OSHA, HIPAA, Sano Policies and Procedures and Sano Employee Handbook.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned/necessary.
