About Us:
We're looking for an experienced Lead Workday Integration Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for managing and developing Workday integrations to ensure seamless data flow and system functionality. As a subject matter expert, you will be instrumental in enhancing our Workday platform's capabilities.
Position Overview:
This position requires an individual with extensive experience in Workday integrations, who can handle the development, testing, and deployment of web service integrations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and the ability to work collaboratively across various teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert and lead developer on all Workday integrations.
- Develop, test, and deploy web service integrations.
- Assist with data conversion processes.
- Gather business requirements from key stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications for the Workday platform.
- Create detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs to support the entire integration deployment life-cycle.
- Monitor scheduled integrations and develop automated management processes.
- Identify and resolve application incidents and requests, referring to other technology groups or vendors when necessary.
- Research integration failures, perform root cause analyses, and report findings to management and business leaders. Develop plans to mitigate and avoid future system issues.
- Write technical specifications and documentation.
- Ensure a high level of customer service.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Workday Integrations: 5+ years of experience.
- Workday HCM Integrations: Proven expertise.
- Workday Studio: Proficiency in Workday Studio.
- Custom Integrations: Experience creating custom integrations from scratch.
- Customer Focused: Strong customer service orientation.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- SDLC and SOX: Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and SOX compliance.
- Programming/Scripting Languages: Proficient in JavaScript, Java, Python, or similar languages.
- XML Standards: Experience with XML Schema, XSLT, STX, DOM, SAX, and similar technologies.
- Microsoft Azure and O365: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, O365, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field/experience.
