What You'll Do:
- Innovate & Analyze: Assess soil and plant tissue samples to create precise growth strategies.
- Pest & Nutrient Management: Design proactive programs for effective pest control and soil nutrient management.
- Optimize Crops: Develop annual crop budgets and plans, optimizing planting and harvesting techniques.
- Spray Recommendations: Provide weekly advice for superior disease, insect, and weed management.
- Irrigation Management: Manage schedules to ensure efficient water usage.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Consult & Advise: Act as a consultant to clients, offering expert advice and tailored solutions.
- Exceptional Service: Conduct service calls focusing on exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
- Coordinate Operations: Ensure seamless production and service delivery.
- Equipment Maintenance: Utilize basic mechanical knowledge for equipment upkeep.
- Financial Analysis: Perform budgeting and analysis using basic mathematical functions.
- Account Management: Follow up with customers to address cancellations, find solutions to recapture their business, and maintain strong client relationships.
What We're Looking For:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Strong understanding of soil science and plant nutrition.
- Certifications: Possess a General Standards Pesticide License or be willing to obtain one within the first 90 days.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record and ability to operate company vehicles.
- Drug-Free: Must pass a drug test.
- Mechanical Skills: Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance.
- Math Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical functions for budgeting and analysis.
- Attitude: Coachable with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.
- Outdoor Readiness: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Flexibility to work up to 60 hours per week during peak season.
