- Develops and maintains a strong retail dealer network to meet and exceed corporate and zone sales objectives for retail growth, increasing market share and upgrading the dealer network while projecting a professional image on behalf of Waldoch. Successfully sells in products and programs to help achieve retail goals. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifies and prioritizes open points; conducts market output analysis and selects markets.
- Regularly visits and maintains an active dealer network to ensure sales goals are met.
- Manages administrative reporting and analysis needed by management to monitor territory performance.
- Develops, coordinates, and conducts sell-in presentations for new/existing products, events and programs.
- Assists dealers in establishing wholesale and retail goals, creating market demand within their territories,
- developing and implementing sales programs.
- Understands state and federal laws and regulations applicable to the auto truck and van industry and dealer
distribution channels.
- Effectively utilizes key territory management resources utilizing Map Point software in new dealer
procurement efforts and upgrading the dealer network to obtain retail growth goals and increase marketshare.prospect business plan.extranet website.
- Drives dealer profitability; encourages dealers to participate in all service and sales training opportunities.
- Promotes financially stable dealer network and responds to dealer needs.
- Reports problems, status and attitudes of dealer network to management.
- Determines and manages dealer profiles.
- Conducts product demos for prospective customers and dealers.
- Evaluates and ranks multiple prospects in the dealer selection process, completes/submits and reviews the
- Provides coaching to dealers to achieve high customer service index (CSI) expectations.
- Conducts territorial business plan; assessments, visits, reviews and training to support the dealer start up.
- Assists in planning and set-up and participates in marketing shows, dealer shows, exhibits and displays.
- Understands and utilizes information system and tools and assists dealers with utilization of the dealer
III. Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or related field, or equivalent education plus experience.
IV. Minimum Work Experience Required:
3-5 years field sales and retail sales experience with proven track record required.
3-5 years sales administration, distribution and customer service experience required.
Experience in automotive/recreational products preferred.
V. Working Conditions:
