Job Overview:
As a Field Service Engineer at Sensus Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair services for a diverse range of radiological, radiotherapy, and other medical devices.
This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing biomedical company in the oncology and biomedical field to work hands-on with high-tech equipment in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Equipment Installation: Installing and setting up various types of medical equipment. Test installed equipment to ensure it is operating to its specifications.
- Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure optimal functionality. This includes inspection, calibration, and performance testing.
- and Troubleshooting:Diagnosing equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes of issues, and performing repairs. This can involve replacing faulty components, troubleshooting electronic circuits, and addressing software-related problems.
- Testing: Conducting safety checks to ensure that equipment meets safety standards and poses no risks to patients, healthcare providers, or users. This involves system evaluation and software analysis.
Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of equipment maintenance, repairs, installs, and inspections. Documentation is essential for regulatory compliance and historical reference.
- Management: Keeping track of equipment inventory tracking replacement parts and maintaining spare parts to minimize downtime.
- Support: Responding to emergency service calls to quickly address critical equipment failures and minimize disruption to patient care.
- Firmware Updates: Updating equipment software and firmware as they are released for each medical device.
Collaboration: Working closely with other engineers and the support staff at Sensus headquarters to troubleshoot complex issues and implement solutions.
Travel: Field service engineers will need to travel to different healthcare facilities, both within their local area and throughout the United States, to perform their duties.
Position Requirements:
Electronics and Engineering Knowledge:

Understanding of relevant medical regulations, standards, and safety protocols is essential.
Time Management:
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, especially when responding to urgent equipment issues.
Driving License:
Many field engineer roles require a valid driver's license, as you will need to travel between different healthcare facilities.
Adaptability:
The healthcare environment is dynamic, so being adaptable to changing situations and circumstances important.
