The Staffing Coordinator will be assisting healthcare professionals interested in Caregivers, CNA and Nursing shifts and maintaining the daily schedule needs.
The Staffing Coordinator will:
- Identify the staffing needs of the medical facility and manage the schedule of staff.
- Provide support to staff, track and record placements, and help keep personnel files up to date.
- Communicate effectively with employees for scheduling needs and client/candidate preferences.
- Have the desire and ability to recruit the 'best' and most caring nurses, caregivers, and allied staff.
- Screen potential candidates and manage the interview/onboarding process.
- Creatively source and pipeline quality candidates.
- Review and update candidate's certification and credential requirements within the healthcare industry.
- Strive for continuous improvement and career advancement.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a sense of urgency.
- Be client-centered and passionate about customer service.
- Contact nurse applicants via phone, email, and text in order to help them sign up for local per diem shifts.
- Work with nurses to ensure they are compliant with local healthcare facilities.
- Proactively contact and recruit candidates to establish relationships, understand their needs, and qualify them for job opportunities.
- Have a strong motivation to achieve results and meet recruiting goals.
Qualifications:
- 1 year plus of experience as a Staffing Coordinator preferred.
- Experience as a Scheduler, Administrative Healthcare Medical, Care Manager, Recruiter, Human Resources is a plus.
- Certified Nurse Assistant or Medical Assistant certificate is a plus.
- Experience staffing and recruitment preferred.
- Strong computer skills.
- Efficient in handling and managing people and resources.
