Summary:
The Director oversees the planning/direction of the RMC/GC operational budget, strategically plans enrollment, updates all relevant business plans, and ensures synergy with University operational budgets/strategies. This role collectively comprises the revenue management and expense functions within RMC/GC. The Director serves as a liaison to University Finance, Research, and other organizational partners on fiscal matters related to RMC/GC financial operations. The individual who holds this position exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least seven years of progressive finance experience required.
- At least two years of management experience required.

Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes strategies that have significant impact on the RMC’s/GCs financial performance and financial plan.
- Collaborates with RMC/GC leadership to review financial feasibility and provide pro forma proposals to ensure interdependencies between specific area of functional oversight and other areas within RMC have appropriate hand-offs.
- Proactively communicates to achieve seamless workflows and achievement of overall RMC/GC Finance objectives.
- Oversees CORMCN operational budget for functional areas of responsibility and ensures the RMC/GC budget is adhering to University expectations.
- Manages implementation, direction and policy development of finance areas (revenue/expense management), professional fee billing, grants/contracts, and academic appointment processing and effort allocations.
- Leads the charge of negotiating agreements, manages professional service agreements, and provides final recommendations to the RMC/GC leadership and in collaboration with the CFBO.
- Consistently promotes and supports a team approach to innovation in RMC/GC programs and problem solving in collaboration with other RMC/GC stakeholders
- Stays abreast of industry changes impacting functional area and RMC Finance; identifies potential impact and required changes; strives to promote best practices in RMC/GC finance.
- Ensures adherence to organizational policies and procedures as it pertains to RMC/GC finance.
- Prepares, maintains, and monitors the annual RMC/GC operational budget in conjunction with senior leadership’s vision.
- Collaborates with Chief Financial Business Officer of the University on all RMC/GC financial matters.
- Provides and interprets financial information for senior RMC/GC leadership/reports regularly.
- Actively contributes to the strategic planning process of the RMC/GC as part of the college leadership team.
- Serves as a point of contact for matters related to HR and Payroll for a variety of student programs. The director ensures proper onboarding of students and appropriate payroll setup for each of these programs.
- Directs the analysis and reporting functions of all recruitment efforts, statistics, measures, and outcomes.
- Collaborates with senior management and the admissions staff to develop and implement enrollment models and statistical reports, track and project admissions, and develop student profile reports that indicate predictors of enrollment success.
- Collaborates with RMC/GC Admissions and Recruitment to formulate long-range strategic application/admission/enrollment policies that will support an integrated end-to-end enrollment management process.
- Collaborates with the Academic Affairs team to disseminate student data to faculty and senior leadership as needed.
