Sunaura Solar, a leading solar service provider in North Texas, is seeking experienced Project Managers to join our team in the following markets: DFW, Austin, and Houston.
This role involves coordinating project schedules with crew members, sourcing and procuring materials, scheduling pick-ups and drop-offs for materials, inspecting projects for quality control, and resolving day-to-day issues that arise.
We are looking for someone who understands the importance of quality and effective communication. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to think on their feet, solve issues promptly, and take control of difficult situations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and manage all aspects of solar projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring all milestones are met.
- Coordinate with crew leads and members to align schedules and ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Communicate project status, details, and issues effectively with the sales department and other relevant stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related inquiries and issues.
- Source and procure necessary project equipment from reliable distributors.
- Schedule and oversee the pick-up and drop-off of materials at each project site.
- Ensure all materials meet quality standards and are available on time for project needs.
- Ensure that all project checklists are completed thoroughly.
- Conduct and sign off on final inspections before project completion.
- Maintain high standards of quality for each project, addressing any issues promptly.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely arrivals, departures, and project completion.
- Ensure all projects are executed within the allocated budget and timeframe.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the solar industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of solar equipment and installation processes is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
