Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse ECMO (Extracorporeal
Membrane Oxygenation) Specialist to join our newly developing ECMO program. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing veno-venous (V-V), venoarterial (V-A) ECMO, Extracorporeal Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (ECPR), and ECMO transport. The ECMO Specialist functions independently following standing ECMO orders and parameters while under the direction of the ECMO Physician and ECMO APP. This role involves providing expert care to critically ill patients, ensuring optimal functioning of the ECMO circuit, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Additionally, you will be actively involved in research, education, and precepting as part of the program’s development.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and in good standing with the state of practice.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an ECMO specialist in a critical care setting.

Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification required.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
Preferred Job Requirements:

Cardiac Surgery Certification (CSC) and Certified ECMO Specialist - Adult (CES-A) certification are a
plus.
