Responsibilities: Learn quickly and operate independently while maintaining successful daily business practices and ushering in a new era of sales growth and business relationships.
- Lead the development of sales initiatives for JCL Service Company, LLC developing clients for the different businesses that include: JCL Safety Services, LLC, JCL Risk Services, LLC and JCL Materials Coordination Services, LLC.
- Be knowledgeable about the products and services JCL offers.
- Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion.
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs.
- Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems.
- Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships.
- Assist in the development of Business Development Plans, Marketing and Sales strategies and development of new and existing client relationships.
- Participate in pre-bid and pre-job meetings and kickoffs as necessary.
- Participate in required weekly meetings.
- Participate in sales meetings and client sales visits.
- Network with the clients at all levels of their organization as necessary.
- Work closely with the Senior leadership and other key personnel to accomplish sales goals.
- Be able to travel at least 75% of the time over the course of a year with increased travel emphasis during heavy business development opportunities.
- Coordinate with JCL Senior Leadership to ensure appropriate sales bids are created and issued in an appropriate manner.
- Manage a travel schedule to optimize visits and contacts to provide for effective utilization of resources.
- Participate in the development and setting of policy decisions regarding sales and marketing.
- Participate in trade shows exhibits and client engagement activities such as VPPPA, AFPM and SynGas.
- Strategize, implement and oversee processes for increased productivity and growth.
- Develop and implement a plan for maintaining relationships with current clients and securing new clients while attaining ethical sales.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or better in Business, Management or other related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Business Development for the oil & gas and petrochemical industries.
- High proficiency in using computers with various types of software to include Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with current clients and potential client through ethical business practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple clients and bids simultaneously.
- Ability to perform effectively with minimal direction.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
