You will be joining a high-performing Extreme One Cloud engineering team that architects, designs, implements, and tests new features and functionality for ExtremeCloud Applications and Platform - an AI/ML powered, wired, and wireless cloud network management solution. You will take new features from concept to delivery, working closely with team members and cross-functional partners to design and develop high-quality solutions that take into consideration scalability, availability and performance.

Technically lead the team of professionals to deliver Network Automation/Orchestration Product

Own the overall Design and development artifacts like functional and design specifications, code and unit test/integration test cases.
- Bring in Best in Class Engineering practices and passionately drive the implementation of the same - be it Test Driven Development and Design Principles

Complete exposure to entire Product Life Cycle is a MUST

Proficiency in 4 or more out of the below areas

Micro services based Architecture and their best practices. Hands-on experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes (K8s, K3s) cluster, Helm charts

Exposure to cloud application development
- Strong coding and debugging experience using Java or GoLang.

Linux OS, Data structures, IPC mechanisms. Intricate understanding of multi-threading/routines.

Agile Development Model with CI/CD , Jenkins pipeline and working knowledge of Git environment.

DB concepts and Deployment models - RDBMS/No SQL

Exposure to Messaging Services like RabbitMQ and Kafka

Knowledge of webhooks/web sockets

OpenAPI/OpenConfig NETCONF/Streaming Telemetry/GNMI/GRPC

Knowledge in L2/L3 OSI layer Protocols - 802.1Q; LAGs; VxLAN; EVPN; ACLs; Route Policy; MPLS/VPLS; BGP; and L2 Forwarding; L3 Routing will be desirable
