Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing behavioral therapy to children and assisting them in developing essential skills. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities
- Collect data on client progress and behavior using established methods and tools
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Support clients in daily living activities (ADLs) and promote independence
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective treatment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation, including care plans
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information
Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Tech (RBT) credential preferred, however we offer paid training to obtain this credential
- Experience working with children, preferably in a behavioral or therapeutic setting
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral therapy
- Ability to collect and analyze data effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Consistent and punctual attendance

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
