This position will perform all duties as necessary to operate and maintain security in the Maintenance Warehouse and Maintenance Yard.
Job responsibilities include:

Dispersing inventory, restocking, preparing requisitions, and all associated paperwork.

Perform data entry for the Preventive Maintenance Program, and Inventory Control computer system.

Knowledge of storage and calibration of asbestos and lead paint monitoring equipment.

Receiving and checking stocked items and storing in correct locations, checking inventory list and reordering items that are low so as to keep stock up to operating level, entering work orders on the computer and listing materials used on each job.

Issuing stocked items at the warehouse and knowing the location and what each item is used for.

Checking tools and equipment out to maintenance mechanics.

Preparing Monthly material replenishment requisitions from state contracts, order needed materials utilizing the computerized procurement system following purchase policy and procedures.

Receive all ordered materials, inspect for accuracy, and update or close purchase requests for the Maintenance Department.

Maintain, calibrate, inspect, and document all test and safety equipment for the department.

Administer the online Safety Data Sheet database for the department.

Manage the Universal Waste Program for the department.

General knowledge of storage principles and practices.

General knowledge of the variety of supplies and equipment and their usage
Ability to assign, supervise, and review the work of subordinate stockroom and warehouse personnel. -
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public.

Ability to maintain simple clerical records and to write legibly.

Ensure equipment and tools are inspected, signed for, and documented according to Tool Control Plan.
A valid Driver's License is required to fully perform the duties of this position.

High School or General Education Development (GED) diploma and three (3) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
