SUMMARY
Responsibilities include assembly of new and existing products; utilize mechanical knowledge and precision to fine tune and adjust packaging systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform assembly, testing and preparing of packaging systems for delivery to the end user with a strong focus on quality control. This production and/or testing will encompass all systems offered; manufactured directly and value-added reseller or integrated systems
- Assembly will include building of subassemblies and complete units from samples, models, verbal instructions and/or assembly diagrams.
- Monitor inventory.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or similar required; Technical Degree or Certification a plus
- Two or more years’ experience and aptitude in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields required
- Possess basic electrical, strong mechanical, and quality control skills
- Solder
- Must be very organized, reliable, honest and dependable
- Ability to understand and follow instructions explained verbally; represented on drawings; and in written procedures
- Must have excellent manual dexterity
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Machine shop and metal working skills are a plus, but not required
COMPENSATION: $20-25/hr.
