The Warehouse Representative will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming furniture and materials, picking, and packing orders from the warehouse, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives, unloads, and places incoming furniture appropriately
- Moves furniture in showroom and with customer pick-up's
- Checks, verifies, and wraps/preps sold furniture leaving the showroom
- Builds and assembles furniture
- Goes on service calls to fix/put furniture together, or to complete furniture deliveries
- Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
- Wear the proper safety equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
Necessary and desirable qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Skilled in using standard tools such as dollies, 4 wheels, drills, etc.
- Experience building furniture a plus
- Ability to handle physical lifting of 50/75+ pounds.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Must have outstanding attendance and punctuality
- Work well in a team environment

- Clean driving record is a must
- Education (degree(s) required) - High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience (years of experience required) -1-2+ years proven warehouse experience
Working Conditions
Weekend or evening hours may be required from time to time. When operations demand, overtime work may be necessary. This position works in a warehouse setting with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and standard warehouse equipment such as Tow Motors and Pallet Jacks.
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Regularly lift and/or move objects 50-70 + lbs. occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
