We are a modern American bakery in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. We are seeking a strong, reliable baker to join our kitchen team. This position would be participating in production of cookies, cakes, quickbreads and many other baked goods.
This is a FULL-TIME position. Weekend availability is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD INCLUDE:
- Rotate through various stations in the production kitchen including baking, measuring + mixing recipes, portioning doughs and batters, packing wholesale
- Measure, mix, and portion various recipes, including cake and muffin batters, cookies, scones and biscuits, frostings, etc.
- Pack wholesale orders
- Bake cookies daily according to production list
- Operate sheeter, dough depositor, and other bakery equipment
- Assist with testing miscellaneous kitchen tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, execute tasks with consistency.
Experience + Qualifications:
- At least three years of professional work experience is a must.
- Be a part of a team, but also able to handle projects independently.
- Working papers are a must.
