Position: Loan Processor
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Loan Processing:
- Accurately and comprehensively process disclosures.
- Order necessary preliminary documentation for each loan type (e.g., Flood, Title Work, NOL search)
- Process real estate loans, consumer loans, and business loans with precision.
- Prepare loan modifications, renewals, and denials.
2. Documentation Management:
- Obtain and distribute Secondary Market and in-house rates on a rotational basis.
- Monitor renewals from all loan officers to ensure timely submission before maturity.
- Perfect liens post-loan closure (e.g., E-record real estate documents, file NOL, UCC’s, etc.)
3. Communication and Correspondence:
- Print and mail loan notices.
- Review and dispatch loan insurance.
- Print new loan letters.
- Regularly review and address the exception report.
- Act as backup for answering phones, taking messages, and assisting customers.
4. General Duties:
- Work as backup for the Secondary Market Loan Processor
- Assist Loan Officers in any capacity needed.
- Willing to serve as a Notary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE:
- A minimum of three years loan processing experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organization and multitasking abilities with a focus on setting priorities.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Detail oriented with adherence to company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Consistent and punctual attendance.
- Maintain a professional image.
