The Office of Management and Budget is soliciting applications for the Capital Improvement Program Principal Fiscal Analyst position for Prince William County. About This Role:
In this role you will:
Providing direct support with the coordination and development of the County's annual Capital Improvement Program; performing difficult technical and intermediate professional budget analysis work related to the planning, budgeting, monitoring, and evaluation of County-wide government operations; maintaining contact and ongoing communications with multiple County agencies; negotiating with associated County agencies regarding funding details of budget requests; developing capital programming to ensure adequate level of service standards as identified in the County's Comprehensive Plan; determining capital accounting structure through creation of projects and awards. Work also includes analyzing, reviewing, and making professional recommendations for the allocation and distribution of revenues and expenditures for County agencies and outside contributory agencies; providing fiscal and operational oversight throughout the fiscal year; providing advice on organizational and developmental performance and productivity improvements.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D. and 6 years of budget analysis experience
Preferences:

Professional work experience in local government budget analysis

Extreme focus on providing highest level of customer service to multiple stakeholders

Experience with supporting training efforts in a professional setting

Oracle EPM Cloud/Hyperion, Oracle ERP/Projects, Smart View, and Microsoft Excel experience

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday with some evenings and weekends from January – May. Primarily telework, but there is a need to attend some meetings in person within and around Prince William County. Note, the first six months of employment will require three days a week in the office at McCoart Government Center, 1 County Complex Court, Woodbridge, 22192.
Starting Salary Range: $76,069 - $104,676
