Michel Smith Boyd Interiors was established in 2006. The interior design firm was the vision of founder/creative director Michel Smith Boyd and has expanded from residential and commercial design into developing retail partnerships and a recent venture into e-commerce.
The firm is synonymous with creating aspirational residences and brand strengthening atmospheres for commercial projects alike. “The depth of our knowledge as a team, combined with our goal to stay attuned with our ever-evolving industry, allows us to execute signature design experiences” said Boyd. The firm’swork has been featured on the pages of Atlanta Home & Lifestyles, LA Weekly, Traditional Home, House Beautiful, Elle Décor, Architectural Digest, and Vogue. He has participated and designed spaces in Atlanta Symphony Associates' Decorators' Show House, Southern Style Now Designer Show House in New Orleans, and the Christopher Kennedy Compound Show House in Palm Springs, CA. The award-winning designer currently has licensed collections with Verde Home and Left Bank Art. Michel’s paintings can be sourced globally at retailers including Crate&Barrel, Z Gallerie, and Neiman Marcus.
The Opportunity
With expansion comes the need to add more talented design professionals, like yourself! We are looking to hire a Project Manager to grow with the firm.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- To check own work for accuracy and completeness

- Self-motivated individual able to work well in a highly collaborative office environment
- Ability to handle deadlines and interact effectively with others to meet project milestones
- Works directly with Senior Interior Designer and/or team in development of designs.
- Supports Senior Interior Designer and/or team in development of material for presentations.
- Prepares and revises documentation in various project phases to support design intent.
- Coordinates interior systems (materials, finishes, fixtures, etc.) to ensure compatibility with the design intent.
- Assists in the evaluation and selection of interior systems and materials.
- Attends project coordination and meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants.
- Understands sustainable design and well-building principles and how they will affect the project design.
- Participates in business development activities and interviews.

Our Requirements
- Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in an office environment
- Art, Architecture or Interior Design interest a plus
- Proficiency with Mac Operating System, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and Google Applications required
- Results-driven with proven ability to motivate, influence and inspire a team
- Commitment to Quality with exceptional attention to detail
- Leadership or business experience preferred
- Successful project management preferred
Our Physical Requirements
- Licensed to drive preferred
- Ability to travel locally or out of state
- Ability to lift and move small to medium items, up to 25 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
