We are looking for a thorough Maintenance/Handyperson to join our team and undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, HVAC installations\ etc.
A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.
Qualifications
- Three-five years of experience doing repairs, remodeling or building maintenance
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Have a strong background of skilled tradesperson experience and have proven communication skills with supervisors, and employees.
- Self-motivated, thrive in fast moving environments, and able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines
- Skilled tradesperson with 3-5 years of experience in maintenance/repair and remodeling
- Strong carpentry background preferred.
- Proficiency to navigate tablet based technology
- Team player who can work independently
Responsibilities
As Facility Maintenance (Handyperson) you are a key member of our team responsible for quality repairs, remodeling, and building improvement projects
Complete small to medium repairs, remodeling, and building improvement projects
- Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs )
- Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
- Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
- Undertake activities of pest control
- Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)
Skills
- Proven experience as maintenance technician and carpenter preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or GED
