Position Summary
Radiology Partners is seeking a Physician Liaison to join our internal teleradiology Practice, Matrix. Reporting in to the Practice Director, the Physician Liaison will serve as the face of the practice with ongoing and open communication with physicians and internal teams. The goal of this position is to maintain and grow relationships by fostering physician loyalty and engagement. The Physician Liaison will serve as the point of contact for the radiologists regarding communication with various internal support teams.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the point of contact to the physicians by taking front line responsibility for issue resolution, addressing concerns and providing effective and timely follow-up
- Responsible for relationship development and engagement of radiologists through frequent, open communications
- Assists practice director’s in coordinating new radiologist onboarding (work with HR, IT, Provider Enrollment and Credentialing departments)
- Optimizes, manages and coordinates radiologist CME activity as required by state
- Monitoring and analyzing quality data
- Supports a productive, team-oriented environment for our radiologists
- Assists with consistent practice communication (communicate key issues and initiatives to our radiologists)
- Participates in process improvement initiatives and special projects
- Actively participates in practice, regional and organizational meetings
- Participates in planning, data collection, and the preparation of reports
- Assists in delegating incoming requests on new and current radiologists
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of experience working with physicians preferred
- Background with physician credentialing or provider enrollment strongly preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Healthcare, or Business preferred
- Experience in managing activities crossing multiple functional departments
- Capable of working in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment and can multitask on a regular basis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

The salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
