```Duties```
As a Line Cook at Sahalee, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items in accordance with recipes and quality standards. Your primary duties will include:
- Preparing ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring them accurately
- Cooking food items on the line during service hours
- Ensuring that all food is prepared and served according to safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
- Monitoring food stock levels and informing the supervisor of any shortages
- Assisting with the cleaning and organization of the kitchen area

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food industry setting
- Knowledge of dietary department operations (preferred)
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and standards
- Strong food handling skills, including proper storage and preparation techniques
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Culinary knowledge, including knife skills and cooking techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
