Maintenance Planning and Engineering Analyst (MPEA)) - Position Description
ICI is looking to hire an experienced Submarine Engineering Technician to support the Submarine Maintenance Engineering Planning & Procurement (SUBMEPP) facility in the area of Maintenance Planning and Engineering Analysis (MPEA). The full-time position will join a team of professional Engineers and Engineering Technicians in Dover, NH
Security Clearance:
- Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
Position/Job Description:
General Tasking Description:
- Assist with the preparation of the annual RCM Candidate Selection Scoring sheet.
- Perform cost analysis on completed RCM Workshops
- Provide thorough reviews of TWDs to ensure scheduling credit is given for planned work.
- Ensure reviews identify all scheduled/unscheduled maintenance completed during a submarine availability.
- Provide updates to the scheduling system.
- Provide real time data and information to our customer’s Engineers.
- Maintain access to WEB AIM and Hit-Kit Databases at four Public Shipyards and download TWDs on a weekly basis.
- Maintain up-to-date databases which provide Engineers access to TWD and other vital submarine availability information.
Experience Requirements:
- Candidate must have current or recent shipyard submarine availability maintenance experience and be familiar with availability work packages and tracking metrics.
- 5 years of current experience in submarine maintenance planning or execution
- Familiarity with OSARS, IMAP, SMMIS, and 3-M Database.
- Proficient with WEB AIM (Advanced Industrial Management), M&SWP, and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with file management and data entry into database files for submarine maintenance scheduling and historical data.
- Review and edit various reports and provide the required documentation used in recording Maintenance Standard (MS) work for submarine availability scheduling.
- Knowledge and understanding of submarine overhauls, including a knowledge of MS, basic URO-MRC (Unrestricted Operation-Maintenance Requirement Card), submarine maintenance requirements and knowledge of basic HM&E (Hull, Mechanical and Electrical) submarine systems.
- Exhibit a very high standard of attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and adhere to work process documentation.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain electronic databases.
Educational & Certification Requirements:
- High School Diploma, Technical School graduate, or GED Equivalent - equivalent work experience is acceptable.
