Job Description
As an experienced Staff Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing our company’s financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include preparation of balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports in accordance with GAAP. Budgeting and forecasting as well as dealing with complex account reconciliations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Experience working independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with all parts of the General Ledger including accruals and reserves.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence and experience dealing directly with Senior Management.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in all aspects of accounting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of recent/hands-on experience working as a Staff Accountant
- Proficiency in accounting software – NetSuite experience highly preferred
- Strong understanding of technical accounting principles GAAP.
- Exceptional attention to detail and data integrity.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities and maintain a high level of work quality.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach, ready to take initiative and lead projects to success.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
