What You’ll Do
We are looking for a highly driven, organized, and creative Senior Web Designer to own and activate the Switchyards brand across our website and creatively problem solve to improve key aspects of our website.
You will work closely with the marketing team, particularly our Creative Director and Graphic Designer, to shape the design strategy for Switchyards.com and tactically execute on this strategy – driving brand expansion and improving key revenue-generating elements on our website. You are responsible for perfecting the experience that prospective members have on our website – educating, inspiring, and driving new member sign-ups.
This role reports to the Director of Marketing.
What You’ll Bring
- Fresh ideas and a strong POV on how to make our website best-in-class, both on desktop and mobile

A proven track record of successfully designing and maintaining websites in a high-growth environment

A passion for brand marketing and creating memorable brand experiences – it's not just about marketing; it's about building a community and leaving a lasting impression

Experience managing creative and senior stakeholders, including earning buy-in from leadership and communicating ideas early and often

Obsessive organizational skills and attention to detail, plus a “no job too big, no job too small” attitude

Strong project management skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously to meet tight deadlines

A scrappy, get-it-done mindset – you take a creative approach to problem solving to figure it out and get projects off the ground
Responsibilities
- Own website design from start to finish: ideation, design, presentation, securing approvals, deployment, and quality assurance

Audit our existing website to identify opportunities for improved graphics, content, and format/structure

Bring the Switchyards brand to life across the website, exploring new ways we can delight web visitors while differentiating Switchyards as a brand and product

Maintain and create pages for our website using Squarespace + custom design, including new landing pages for new club launches, blog posts, and more

Bring a strong design POV for improving key elements of our website, including our member portal, email capture box, and Stripe checkout flow

Help our Graphic Designer creatively ideate on their assigned tasks, ensuring they have the clear direction and feedback needed to meet assigned deadlines

Work with our wider marketing team to ensure brand is consistent across key channels including email, SMS, Meta, social, direct mail, and more

Stay up-to-date with web trends and best practices, including tools, accessibility standards, creative opportunities, and the latest capabilities
Qualifications
- A dynamic portfolio that shows examples of creative problem-solving and excellent web design

Expertise in all facets of branding and design, including typography, photo/video, visual storytelling

Mastery of technical tools, including Canva, Adobe Suite, and more

Though this role focuses on web design, you should have experience and familiarity designing for key marketing channels like email, SMS, Meta, social, direct mail, and more

Management experience, you will manage a Graphic Designer in this role
Bonus Skills
- Squarespace or Webflow experience strongly preferred
