At Strategy Samurai, we help creators, coaches, and consultants grow their business through lightning-fast content creation. Our goal is to make content creation quick, easy, and profitable by helping online entrepreneurs create content assets that – not only bring in new leads – but consistent cashflow.
Every week we publish: emails, forum posts, videos, podcasts, blog posts, social media posts, and other content-related marketing assets.
This is a hybrid position that is mostly virtual, but also requires frequent in-person work at our production studio in Boulder Colorado.
You’ll be a key part of the content production team – helping our Visionary and Founder, Steve Nixon, record and create content “on location” at our studio in Boulder, Colorado.

- Help us create a content-producing machine that spits out thousands of pieces of high-quality content across a variety of platforms.
- Ability to commute to our recording studio in Boulder Colorado 2-4x /week
- Help founder Steve Nixon record great video and audio content at our studio in Boulder Colorado as his “on the ground” support
- Act as Steve’s in-person assistant to support him in delivering the best on-camera performance possible
- Be a sounding board for Steve’s content ideas – helping him flesh out ideas, and pushing back where you feel the ideas are not in line with our marketing vision and goals
- Assist content team with editing and processing video/audio content
- Assist content team in managing editorial and production calendars, while meticulously checking for quality assurance and the timely delivery of content
- Assist the content team in creating graphics / images related to video/audio content you create
- Assist with social media management of company accounts, including content creation and posting to Tik Tok, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Edit media to repurpose recorded content for various social media channels (i.e. clip “gold nuggets” out of a video to share on Instagram or Facebook)
- Capture B-roll video content we can use to enhance our video content
- Lead pre-production efforts by assisting the team to source and manage production crews, schedules, locations, and equipment
- Ensure flawless equipment operation and oversee the testing of cameras, tapeless media, microphones, lights, video monitors, and related equipment
- Supervise any “on the ground” team such as production crew and in-studio management during shoots including but not limited to directors, sound engineers, editors, videographers, producers, and photographers
- Work with our leadership team to ensure that production strategy aligns with overall company goals.

Job requirements
- Willing to commute to Boulder Colorado Studio 2-4x /week
- 3-5 years experience in filming video or a very strong portfolio of work
- Experience working with and assisting on-camera talent
- Must find joy in the work of video production and happily engage with the problem solving required for its successful application.
- Must have a strong eye for videography aesthetics and what makes a great “shot”
- Extensive experience with camera equipment – including soundboard mixers, video switchers, microphones, and other equipment
- Must take feedback constructively and adjust work processes’ accordingly
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage project plans for video creation
- Experience recording, editing, and syncing video and audio feeds
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
- Solid understanding of technology and using it to manage the creation of content for digital formats, including capabilities and/or confidence with WordPress, Rev, Vimeo, YouTube, Zoom, AWS, Dropbox, Libsyn, and GoogleDrive
- Excellent problem-solving, organization, scheduling, and prioritization abilities
- Confident, clear, and friendly verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be highly adaptable and be agile as needed in a fast-paced production environment
