Director of Sales - Small Business Sales D2D (Telecom Industry)

Oﬀering cross country sales consultation expertise and solutions, Premium’s award-winning team has partnered with America’s largest and leading telecommunications solutions provider, to bring innovation and custom solutions to businesses in key regions across the nation. This position is based out of the Maryland/DC/Virginia area, the hub for this national program.

Job Overview:

As aDirector of Sales, you will lead a dynamic sales team focused on driving growth throughdoor-to- door salestosmall businessesin thetelecommunications sector. Your strategic vision, leadership, and ability to build strong relationships will be critical in achieving sales targets and expanding market share.

We are looking for a Sales Leader, passionate and motivated to drive sales into small business through exceptional consultative sales techniques, working from a list of potential customers in each territory to promote our client’s technology products which include Fiber Optic Internet Service, 5G/4G Internet Services, Business and Cellphone Services. (The focus will be on selling services.)

Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy and Planning:

Develop and implement eﬀectivesales strategiesaligned with organizational goals.
Set ambitioussales targetsfor the team and individual sales representatives.
Develop, coach and manage a team of professionals who will visit Small Business customers in-person to prospect for our client’s technology products and services
Identify the speciﬁc needs of companies and oﬀer tailor-made solutions while oﬀering impeccable customer service.
Organize and conduct weekly team meetings to develop strategies and provide coaching.
Use our client’s proprietary system to assist with territory and funnel management.
Demonstrate optimism, integrity and professionalism to represent our client.
Analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.
Conduct Quarterly QBR’s with client partners and senior management.

2. Team Leadership:

Lead a nationwide team of sales professionals calling on local SMB units within prescribed regions.
Recruit, hire, train, develop and coach an ambitious and results-driven team of sales professionals.
Achieve sales targets and goals within set timelines.
Mentor team members, provide on-going guidance and support.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture.

3. Business Development:

Establish and maintain productive relationships with key decision-makers insmall business accounts.
Manage negotiations of sales contracts.
Drive new product adoption and upselling opportunities.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with marketing teams to align sales eﬀorts with overall business objectives.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences.

Qualiﬁcations:

Bachelor’s degree inBusiness, Marketing, or related ﬁeld.
Proven track record indoor-to-door saleswithin thetelecom industry.
3-5 years of B2B experience in direct sales.
Entrepreneurial mentality, persistent and motivated to achieve targets.
Proven track record and experience in consultative sales to small business.
Leadership experience inmanaging and fostering sales teams.
Excellentcommunication, negotiation,andrelationship-building skills.
Strong analytical abilities to assess market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

Physical Demands:

Both oﬃce and ﬁeld based, travel required.

Compensation:

$120,000 - $150,000 annual salary, plus strong variable bonuses based on performance.
