Full Job Description

Primary Care / Family Practice in South Brooklyn is looking for a Physician Assistant to join our amazing team.

We are seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant to provide quality, competent, safe and compassionate care. The Physician Assistant will work closely with with the primary care physician in our office.

Job Responsibilities and required Proficiencies:

Perform focused and comprehensive assessments of patients, including history taking and physical examination in accordance with current standards as well as properly documenting the assessment/encounter in an ongoing systematic manner into the Electronic Health Record. (EHR)
Ordering and interpreting appropriate laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging reports and other medical record review.
Formulating treatment and follow up plan of care in the scope of the primary care field.
Consult with physician in the office as dictated by patient need and assessment findings.
Completion of patient forms / documents as needed / Follow up on phone calls with patients.

Work Schedule:

Full Time: Monday to Friday - 40hrs work week)

Requirements:

NYS Physician Assistant License & NCCPA Certification
Valid NPI & DEA
Familiarity with EHR, basic computer skills including PDF documents, Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat
Must be punctual, reliable and team player.
