Job Summary

If you have an outgoing, friendly personality, with dynamic sales and customer service skills, then we have an excellent opportunity for YOU!

We are currently seeking a Leasing Consultant who takes pride in their accomplishments, has strong sales and marketing skills, excellent writing and verbal communication skills, and the drive to see tasks through to the end. The right candidate will be attentive to details and will work cooperatively with the property operations staff to provide an exceptional customer experience for our residents, prospective residents, and guests. Leasing Consultants must maintain a high level of professionalism, while engaging prospective residents, their families, and referral sources to draw them to the community. Knowledge of computer programs, such as Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management software, along with a flexible work schedule and the ability to meet deadlines, are all preferred skills and attributes for a qualified Leasing Consultant.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Following Fair Housing guidelines.

· Ability to work weekends and/or week nights.

· Maintain an excellent customer service relationship.

· Adhere to Companies Policies and Procedures

· Greet prospective residents. Show model, market ready units and common areas

· Lease apartments and sell the products and services of the property to prospects

· Assist prospective residents with completion of online application

· Respond to internet leads, answer prospect calls and conduct property tours following the guidelines outlined in the mystery shop forms as well as training materials

· Work to optimize occupancy while maximizing leased rent

· Utilize established sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintain closing ratios and work to achieve and exceed budgeted occupancy percentages

· Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property and competition

· Assist with market surveys as needed

· Collect deposit and/or fees associated with move-in

· Accurately prepare and have a thorough knowledge of all lease-related paperwork

· Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data, and assist with other computer data entry as necessary

· Inspect units on a routine basis as well as prior to move-in

· Assist with planning and hosting of resident events

· Audit all lease and renewal files quality control

· Assist residents with the move-out process

· Write up and file service requests from residents upon receipt

· Contribute to the general upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas and model

· Perform various administrative tasks as needed

· Additional duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications and Skills

· Pleasant attitude to all prospects, residents and associates

· Excellent communication and listening skills

· Strong customer service skills

· Detail Oriented/Multi-Tasker

· Prior property management experience preferred

· High School degree

· Knowledge of computer programs, such as Microsoft Office Suite

Benefits

This is a full-time position offering base pay plus commissions. Benefits include paid time off, medical, dental, vision insurance and 401k.
