The Material Handler 2 will be directly responsible for the unloading, loading, data collecting, data distribution, data entry and potentially scheduling the transportation of products from specific warehouse programs. This person will be the first person point of contact for our external customer.
Requires very little supervision, is self-motivated to complete the daily assignments.
Essential Functions & Physical Demands

- Safely load and unload materials from trailers using LP or electric powered forklifts, manual/electric pallet jacks, wheeled racking or other manual hand trucks.
- Safely move and stack materials using LP or electric powered forklifts, manual/electric pallet jacks, wheeled racking or other manual hand trucks to designated locations in warehouse.
- Must be able to determine that the part or item matches what the customer has ordered by comparing part/item numbers, shapes, size, or colors based on the part or item.
- This person must be able to lift and maneuver parts or items on a rack or pallet in multiple directions, frequently.
- The person in this position must be able to ascend or descend onto an industrial powered forklift’s seat, frequently.
- This person must be able to move levers or controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, to load, unload, transport, or stack material.
- This person must be able to turn at the waist, while seated, to look in any direction of the forklift movement constantly.
- This person must be able to remain stationary constantly
- This person must be able to walk frequently
- This person may need to stoop, kneel, or crouch occasionally
- This position requires light work, that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds constantly.
- This position requires medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds occasionally
- This position requires heavy work that includes moving objects over 50 pounds rarely, or with team lifting.
- This person must be able to respectfully communicate with others to exchange information.

Supervisory Responsibility
- This person may be responsible for the coordination of work activities of other material handlers.
- With the added experience required of Material Handler 2, may be depended on to complete special projects or take on extra responsibility under the supervision of a Material Handler Lead, Project Manager, or Operations Managers.
- This person may be assigned for training and mentoring a new hire in skills/knowledge that this person is qualified.

- Occasionally works days off and overtime to complete special project.

The incumbent generally works for about 8-10 hours per day, Camrett is a seven day a week operating company, scheduled days off depend on the individual program assignments. Occasionally works days off and overtime to complete special project. Work is done indoors however the incumbent may be exposed to extreme conditions such as heat and cold. The work pace is generally moderate however the pace may increase or decrease dependent on work demand. Due to the nature of the job incumbent frequently lifts up to 35 pounds and occasionally may lift up to 50 pounds. Strain from frequent bending stretching and reaching may occur and the incumbent is regularly exposed to dust and dirt. The Material Handler 2 reports to the Operations Manager, and/or the General Manager however work is done independently.
The Material Handler 2 is evaluated using a Standard Camrett Company evaluation from. The Operations Manager or General Manager conducts evaluations.
