The Director of Strategic Marketing & Client Success at Goldman Marketing Group (GMG) will be accountable for the company's marketing strategies and their success in driving results, achieving desired outcomes, and maintaining client satisfaction. Moreover, the role will manage and support the Marketing Coordinators and Managers, ensuring the successful delivery of their respective responsibilities and goals. This role will report directly to the President.
This position is focused on marketing strategic planning, client communication / satisfaction and marketing department and team management. Our clients are all in healthcare, but varied between B2B (laser/skincare/aesthetic companies) and B2C (private medical practices).
The goal for this position is to service as the primary point of communication with clients and internal project managers once you have a handle on subject matter, client specific information, and internal processes and tools.
This is a new position and department for the company, so this director will come in and set the foundation and then hire additional team members over time. Before a full team is hired, this position will require a lot of hands-on work, such as managing day to day client communication, drafting campaign headlines, and leading all client strategies.
*Aesthetic/dermatology/plastic surgery industry experience is required. It is important you are aware of the inner operations and workings of a healthcare practice and/or healthcare focused business!

A Day In The Life of A Director of Marketing
- Zoom calls with clients to align strategically, collaborate on future campaigns, and keep projects moving forward
- Client email communication, discussing projects, aligning on edits/rounds of revisions, and overall keeping clients happy
- Review and provide strategic and creative feedback for all ongoing projects on Wrike (our PM platform)
- Brainstorm new marketing campaigns to meet changing client goals and create a creative brief to move the project into production
- Review marketing KPIs and overall strategies to determine ideal tweaks to improve performance and keep clients up-to-date
- Attend internal meetings to communicate strategy and to ensure that projects are completed in alignment with the vision and strategy parameters
- Group and 1:1 time coaching and developing a small team of direct reports (marketing coordinators)

Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Client Revenue Retention: Accountable for client satisfaction and retention, fostering strong relationships, and delivering successful marketing strategies that meet clients' objectives.
- Client Strategy & Messaging: Work with clients to develop and implement effective marketing strategies and messaging that align with client objectives and industry best practices. Manage GMG's own marketing strategy as a key client.
- Marketing Standards and KPIs: Establish, maintain, and ensure adherence to marketing standards and KPIs to measure the success and efficiency of marketing efforts.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Provide deep healthcare industry knowledge, specifically within dermatology, plastic surgery, aesthetics, and revenue cycle management. This person should understand the unique marketing requirements of both B2B and B2C clients in these spaces.
- Competition Oversight: Constantly keeping up with the industry and competition, what is working, what is not, strengths and weaknesses, online and offline marketing, and ultimately ensure our clients stand above with a competitive advantage.
- Marketing Team Management: Oversee, guide and manage a team of marketing coordinators, specialists, and managers, promoting a culture of collaboration, effective communication, and a supportive, high-performing environment. Oversee and enforce GMG standards and processes inside of the department.
- Client Vault Ownership: Serve as the client vault owner, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of client information, marketing strategy, and history with GMG.
- Practice Management: Implement and manage practice management strategies inside of healthcare practices to enhance client outcomes and the overall marketing campaign’s effectiveness.
- Budgeting and Financial Management: Work closely with project management team on a daily basis to set priority and ensure we stay on schedule. Also work with finance and operations departments to develop and manage project budgets for each marketing strategy and the budget for the marketing department overall.

Three Main Goals:
