LK Distribution is a leading distributor of several brands and products offered on both e-commerce and wholesale.
The Warehouse Manager must be a positive leader that leads its team to ensure that all products are shipped accurately, on time, in full, and with the highest regards to safety and efficiency. Also, to manage all S&R personnel by leading, motivating, training, scheduling, and evaluating their performance including leading by experience. Primarily responsible for all warehouse operations, maintenance of equipment, organization (5S), inventory control, data entry and reporting, verification and processing of all inbound and outbound shipments with receipts upon product arrival/departure.
This effective role will take a "Hands-On" approach in performing the following primary responsibilities:
- Oversees & manages all day-to-day operations in the warehouse facility, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Actively participates in the operating of all S&R Activities.
- Lead all personnel to work as a team.
- Manage the daily order process and prioritization of all customer orders with urgency and accuracy to meet target shipment goals with a minimal to zero error rate.
- Implement new Programs, including providing appropriate training. Regularly monitor and review the effectiveness of existing programs.
- Maintain the site to appear visually attractive and organized.
- Inspect all manufactured items to ensure that they meet a predetermined level of quality.
- Operate the site as a Low Cost Distribution Point by obtaining the maximum amount of value through all purchases, and eliminating inefficiencies and monetary waste.
- Effectively communicate with any and all associated team members from Headquarters.
- Preparing Schedules and Movement of Staff for Maximum Efficiency.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse processes, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
- Ability to conduct data-entry for updating inventory across spreadsheets and documents within Google Workspace.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize inventory control.
- Overseeing the Training of New Hires for Various Departments.
- Manage and train warehouse staff, ensuring all employees adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and performance evaluations of the warehouse team.
- Communicate with other departments including remote Headquarters to ensure seamless coordination of operations.
- Generate reports and analyze data to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Conducts Organization of the Warehouse using High Pile Storage and Boltless Shelves.
- Assists with scheduling daily pick-up/collection and delivery schedules. (LTL, FTL, Domestic Parcel)
- Purchases all materials needed for essential functions within the facility (e.g., PPE, Corrugated Cartons, Shrink Film, Gloves, and applicable Warehouse Materials
- Maintains all warehouse equipment.
- Keeps accountability for all Team Members within the Facility.
- Set Warehouse and Team Goals in collaboration with Executive Management and other Team Leads to perform and implement Improvements.
- Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employee’s workability.
- Keep up to date on the latest federal and state safety regulations for OSHA.
- Communicate with other departments to ensure products and orders are shipped in a timely manner.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have the ability to read and interpret instructions, correspondence, and operating
procedures. Correspond and ability to effectively present information and speak to customers or employees of organization. Good phone etiquette and verbal communication skills required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must have ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
