JCC Greater Boston in Newton, MA, seeks a passionate and enthusiastic Certified Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team. This position provides you with an opportunity to work with students, with a focus on providing a positive, nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, dedicated educator with a passion for helping students achieve their full potential. As a Certified Infant/Toddler Teacher at JCC Greater Boston, you will have the chance to inspire and engage students while developing educational programs that promote social, emotional, and academic growth.

Eligible for $1,000 sign-on bonus

This posting is for a full-time, salaried Certified Infant/Toddler Teacher. The starting salary for this position is $47,940-$53,040. The salary offered will ultimately be determined by the scope of the position, the candidate’s relevant experience, and internal equity. JCC Greater Boston also has openings for part-time Certified Infant/Toddler Teachers with multiple shift options. For teachers interested in working with other age groups or All School Classroom Aide/ Floater positions, please contact us to explore those options.

Responsibilities

Create a safe and nurturing environment where children can play, learn, and take risks
Maintain full responsibility for the smooth running of the classroom environment
In partnership with Early Learning Center Directors and peers, co-create a collaborative, dynamic, positive, and innovative classroom culture.
Work in partnership with JCC leadership and other departments to support JCC Greater Boston organizational goals and model JCC values
Partner and communicate with families to ensure the best care and education for the children
Design and implement curriculum
Complete observation and document assessments regarding children’s progress
Adhere to all EEC regulations as well as NAEYC guidelines

Requirements

EEC Infant/Toddler certification required

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted at the JCC’s discretion to meet minimum criteria.
