Responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing a broad training curriculum and delivery mechanism for our customers including certified training classes to provide customers with CEU credits. Develop a process to fund all training through customer fees and vendor contributions with the goal of making the training program profit-neutral at a minimum.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Insect Identifications and Recommendations
Technical Manager for Key Accounts (Pest Management Firms) which may include being listed as staff entomologists for their key accounts or bids
Assists in product evaluation and demonstration projects (trials with MFG)
Public Speaking / Training at various industry events
Represent the company with Trade Associations as needed, including serving on committees and holding board positions
Technical writing skills for print and digital materials for presentations, technical updates, and trade magazines, including social media.
Assist Sales Directors with Key Account presentations on training
Recommends and Facilitates Target Seminars and Workshops
Works closely with Marketing and graphic designers on materials such as flyers, events, and website maintenance
Manages the CEU training process nationally
Oversee invoice process for customer and vendor training
Oversee the Training Abstract Database
CANDIDATE SUMMARY
Required Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Entomology or related field
5+ years of professional training experience
Experience in pest management, specialty agriculture training outreach and education (workshops, print/digital materials, etc.)
Technical writing skills for print/digital materials for presentation, technical updates and trade magazines including social media
Proven ability to develop strong strategic working relationships with leaders and act as a strategic partner on all decisions.
Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, along with influencing and negotiation skills, process knowledge in the functional area, and an ability to communicate regulatory and technical issues effectively.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Willingness to travel.
Strong interpersonal skills in managing people and communicating with all levels of employees and management.
Proficiency using Google Suite and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Ensure that all business is conducted in an ethical, legal and professional manner as required by corporate policy and local government regulations.
