SUMMARY
Shipping/Receiving Associate will be responsible for primarily general warehouse duties & shipping/receiving duties from Inbound & Outbound Shipping/Receiving, Picking & Packing, Warehouse Organization, Stock Keeping and Replenishment, Inventory Control, and Data Entry if applicable. They will operate within the designated safety standards, as well as other tasks in accordance with proper procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Pick, sort, and pack merchandise and products (order fulfillment) - Locating and selecting products for orders in an accurate and timely manner; safely and accurately processing orders to be packed and staged for outbound shipments.
- Accurately package, photo-document, and weigh items to be shipped to ensure proper shipment methods.
- Identify, sort, and stock new merchandise to inventory shelving.
- Clean warehouse shelves and aisles from empty inventory boxes.
- Manage and transfer shipping bins/carts when they are full to the pick-up areas for USPS/UPS/Fedex.
- Provide support for team members.
- Perform routine cycle counts and inventory checks with manifests and legible documentation.
- Recording and Verifying Items via Manifests & Packing Lists
- Quality Assurance Checks on all items received.
- Organizing items for stock-keeping and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to pick and pack assortment of shipment methods from larger bulk (LTL) that require palletization and wrapping of pallets by hand, wholesale bulk via Parcel, to online e-commerce order fulfillment.
- Ability to cross-dock with proper documentation.
- Box or Palletize pulled items/materials and stage for shipping.
- Pick & Pack orders all outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, completeness, promptness, accountability, and condition of shipments meet established standards for various brands.
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Product Replenishment of Shelves with Necessary Items
- Receive return shipments and create manifests for status on items and inventoried items.
- Sort and Place Materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as space availability, size, type, style, color, product code or by space availability.
- Other reasonable duties to be assigned as needed.

- Required to be able to lift up to 50lbs at times.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have the ability to read and interpret instructions, correspondence, and operating
procedures. Correspondence and ability to effectively present information and speak to customers or employees of an organization. Good phone etiquette and verbal communication skills required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must have ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral,
or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
