Sr. Software Engineer with the following duties:
- Design, develop, test, modify, implement, and integrate software applications, software systems/accelerators.
- Design enterprise-scale cloud-native as well as cloud-agnostic software architecture with a solid foundation, scalability, high performance, and security considerations.
- Review and ensure application architecture, design, and implementation are consistent with technology strategy and software standards.
- Analyze legacy applications' technical design and source code, develop strategy solutions for migration to the cloud, and assist teams during validation.
- Create and review documentation and contribute to effort estimations and scheduling.
- Work with business groups and IT project managers during requirements discovery, process mapping, prioritizing requirements, and conducting cost/benefit analysis to justify business requirements for new projects.
- As a tech lead, work with the technical teams to translate business requirements into functional requirements and assist project managers during the planning, implementation, and rollout of complex and large systems into production.
- Participate in walkthroughs to review QA artifacts (test plans, test scripts, RTM) to ensure successful functional, performance, and security testing.
- Communicate with all stakeholders during the project development lifecycle and produce required artifacts such as technical specifications, status reports, and release documents, etc.
- Act as liaison with the onshore and offshore software development team and coordinate the development activities.
Requirements:
Educational Requirements: BA degree in computer science or a related field.
Work Experience Requirements: 2 years of experience in the offered position, or in the alternate job title of Technical Lead, or a related occupation.
Skill Set Requirements: 2 years in the following skill set:
- Microsoft .NET Framework, Microsoft .NET Core, C#, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, LINQ, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Cloud Services, Git, and Azure DevOps
- PowerBuilder, SharePoint, and Migration Tools
- Atlassian JIRA & Confluence, Azure Boards, IBM BlueWorks Live, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Word
- Agile/Scrum Frameworks and Tools, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Portfolio Management (PPM)

The job is currently in Cranbury, NJ. There is a possibility of medium to long term relocation to either Pittsburgh, PA or other unanticipated sites throughout the U.S. The position is 40 hours per week, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
