Business Overview:
The business is a multi-unit retail concept with approximately 20 store-level employees and 10 back-office employees. As a small but fast growing team, the COO must be willing to work with a breadth of responsibilities and roles in a fast paced and unstructured environment – to create work materials, design SOPs, manage and train employees and ensure accountability throughout the organization.
Position Summary:
The Operations Manager will be our organization's most senior operations executive focused on designing, building, implementing and leading the business’ standard operating procedures, systems, metrics, responsibilities and communication flows and managing the team within this system. The Operations Manager will be fundamental to helping scale the operations from small business to a middle-market, process-oriented enterprise ensuring seamless operations for substantial store growth whilst executing towards the company’s vision.

Duties/Responsibilities:
· Ensure that the entire business structure can collaborate effectively and meet goals according to an overarching timeline and budget.
· Manage and effectively delegate to direct reports including area managers, market leaders, and other support staff.
· Lead and motivate team members to drive performance and results.
· Supervise staff, providing guidance and support for professional growth.
· Oversee the administrative roles in an organization, managing communications channels, supply chain steps and the overall taxonomy of the company.
· Collaborate with sales teams to optimize revenue generation.
· Delegate marketing tasks to core teams while maintaining relationships with business partners and vendors.
· Keep the business’s key functions running smoothly by planning out the implementation of each smaller task that contributes to a company’s purpose.
· Responsible for implementing complex systems and managing business relationships with company partners and staff. They are highly logical and think ideas through before acting, considering all possible outcomes and areas for improvement.
· Decisively and confidently follow through on the strategic vision, solve problems and adapt to outside factors that influence plans.
· Oversee profit & loss statements and make data-driven decisions.
· Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
· Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
